Child Care Community Development Project
The childcare center has moderate to severe special needs and the government therefore works closely with childcare centrers to ensure their basic needs are met. However there is often not enough staff to provide individual care and attention. These day care centers are called ‘Anganwadis’ in Hindi and these childcare centers provide a place for poor families to leave their children for the day, enabling parents and other family members to work. We provide volunteer assistance to local staff in daily jobs such as feeding, cleaning, clothing, teaching and playing games with the children.
Our society is making a social impact in the lives of poor families by helping care for their children so they are able to obtain work within their communities. We are able to impact the children by providing them with basic learn skills, child play, interaction, and attention that they deserve. These skills will also help the children in the child care center prepare for primary school at an early age. Through our society’s resources, we are able to provide the children with an opportunity to thrive in their young development.
I want to a volunteer
As a volunteer you will have to play a significant role by providing the children with proper care, love and warmth. Volunteers provide one on one attention to each and every child and focus on their overall holistic development.
How to become a Volunteer?
The society invites people around the world to make a great contribution and bring changes by getting involved in our 100% free volunteer programs. However, you will have to pay for housing and meals to our volunteer placement associate during your time volunteering with us.
