in English is
Take a Pledge… A pledge to make with people from all
parts of the world by 'Sankalp' and in turn a promise
with Sankalp by the people to create a unique and
different world by way of turning the entire population
harmonious and helpful to each other.
Sankalp Volunteer Society, India is a registered non
Profitable NGO, since 1994 under the society
registration act of India. The organization is active in
the socio-economic, cultural development of the society
especially for the rural poor and needy children and
women with a view to serve more targeted population in
various areas. Sankalp expanded its working area and
addressed these issues in other discriminated
communities in India as well.
Vision
Sankalp visualizes a society where all people - no
matter sex, caste or creed are treated equal; where all
people have access to education and health facilities;
and where everybody has the right to a sustainable
livelihood.
Mission
Sankalp is fighting for the social, economical and
political rights of discriminated people so that they
can live a life in dignity. Sankalp aims to stimulate,
activate and motivate the people to help themselves in
particular women and children who we see as the most
important agents of change. To do so an over-all
development approach has been adopted, in which we work
on all aspects of life such as education, health,
hygiene, as well as income generation. Sankalp has a
special focus on the underprivileged and abandoned
communities.
